Crosswind Kennels Incorporated
PURE EVIL
“I bought a yorkie pup through Crosswinds. I was informed that my pup had NEVER been HELD by a HUMAN the ENTIRE 3 MONTHS OF HER EXISTENCE, NEVER played with a TOY, ATE her own FECES because that's what she saw her mother do to keep the cage clean, SINCE THE OWNER WOULDN'T. Within 3 DAYS of having my pup, we were in the animal hospital because she was PEEING BLOOD, BLOATED STOMACH, and EXTREME PAIN. She had a MASSIVE kidney stone at 3 MONTHS OLD because the CHEAP FOOD given to her was SO HIGH in PROTEIN. We almost lost her. This is the same breeder that when 29 of her yorkies died in 2009 due to a fire caused by a lightening strike? Talked more about how the building wasn't insured. This woman is EVIL. Those 29 babies BURNED to death trapped in their dirty cages and she was more concerned about not having insurance on the building. I cannot fathom that level of evil. She only cares about money, the lives and well-being of the animals who are so innocent and helpless mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to her. She seeings them as a means to live, not living, breathing beings.” -

Woodland Park Pet Resort
Great Place!
“We leave our baby girl there knowing that she is loved taken care of. She loves to run around and they have LOTS of green grass for her to stretch her legs. We love driving up and being able to see her enjoying herself in the yard. We left her one Christmas, and brought some presents for her. The staff was nice enough to take some pictures Christmas morning of her ripping open her presents!! I loved that.” -

Tomball Pet Resort
Board Your Dog Anywhere Except Tomball Pet Resort
“I have 2 dogs that I boarded at the Tomball Pet Resort and I will NEVER do it again, nor will I support this business financially in any way. When we picked them up, their blankets and toys were completely saturated in their own urine, indicating that they had not been let out often enough, if at all. The items that were labeled with our name that we had brought with us were not packed and waiting with our bag nor could be located in a timely fashion. \nIn the 8+ years of boarding my pets, I have never experienced such rude behavior as I did from the managing partner, Kandi Frohlich. She was blatantly discourteous, uncooperative and disrespectful. And she would not credit the $18.75 left over from our boarding to my credit card. My only option was to take the credit in the form of toys and treats sold in the reception area. Nowhere on their website nor in their marketing collateral do they disclose that any credit left from the $150 deposit is applied solely to future visits and purchases, nor was it stated on the phone at the time the reservation was made. If they call this type of service pampering, I would hate to know what kind of behavior they categorize as cruel, malicious or mistreating. \n” -

Almost Home Pet Retreat “If you want a kennel that is unorganized, completely unprofessional, rude, does not have good communication with their employees or their clients, does not answer the phones, uses handwashing soap to bathe their dogs, and many more... then please board your dog at Almost Home Pet Retreat. \n \nIt is the most chaotic pet retreat that I have ever laid eyes upon. I would never in a million years take my pet here. She would probably come home smelling of urine and scared to death from the cage free boarding that this woman, Linda Hickson, offers. It should be called let your dog run around in my house with 20 other dogs, hopefully it won't get hurt retreat. I'd look elsewhere, if I were you! ”
