My name is Josiah Avery and I am the owner and operator of Rocky Knoll. I began over 10 years ago by caring for the dogs of friends and family, but quickly saw a widespread need for this service in Cook County. Through hard work and dedication, Rocky Knoll has become what it is today, a quaint 8-kennel dog boarding space nestled in the woods! While the lodging dogs may be few, my goal is to provide a loving, home-like environment. I take a family-like approach to dog care, handling each dog customed to his personality. I am a certified pet care professional through Outstanding Pet Care Learning Center and am dedicated to providing the best care possible for your pup while you are away.
